Three simple but very effective steps. Environ’s Sebu-ACE Oil doesn’t leave an oily after-feel because of the special type of base oil used. It contains a high level of vitamin A, in the form of Retinyl Propionate, and through extensive trials, we have found that no or at most, extremely mild retinoid reactions are experienced when starting on this level of vitamin A.

WHY IS A HIGH LEVEL OF VITAMIN A USED TO REDUCE ACNE?
Oily skin with breakouts is deficient of vitamin A. It is important to address this deficiency and build up the stores of vitamin A as quickly as possible in order to get the best improvement of the skin appearance Including acne and blemish breakout.
AFTER THREE MONTH’S OF USING THE RANGE, ONCE THE SKIN HAS IMPROVED, HOW DOES ONE “STEP-UP” THE LEVEL OF VITAMIN A?
Various options are available. The first option is to step up to Enhanced Body Oil as this level of vitamin A is higher than the Sebu-ACE Oil. Adding Retinol 1, then 2 and finally Retinol 3 is also advised.
When the skin has completely settled, after about a year or so, then the client may consider using Skin EssentiA 3 or Youth EssentiA 3 to get their added benefits for general skin health.
IS THE CLARITY+ RANGE CONTRA-INDICATED WHEN USING CIS-RETINOIC ACID (ROACCUTANE®)?
Environ recommends avoiding all peeling products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Beta-Hydroxy Acids containing high concentrations. People can use mild AHA creams, Derma-Lac Lotion etc. Topical vitamin A should only be used in low levels.
HOW LONG SHOULD CONSUMERS EXPECT TO USE THE CLARITY+ RANGE BEFORE SEEING RESULTS?
Environ recommends using the range for a minimum of three months as our trials have indicated this is a good time-frame for improving the skin’s appearance. If no visible results are obtained, refer the consumer to a dermatologist.
HOW EXACTLY DOES THE CLARITY+ RANGE FIGHT BREAKOUTS?
Firstly, vitamin A helps to normalise the skin, assisting with the prevention of thickened stratum corneum with flaking of keratinocytes and regulating sebum production thus helping to prevent the formation of plugs.
Secondly, a gentle cleaning routine that prevents stripping of the skin’s surface oils is very important so that we don’t stimulate excess sebum secretions that could lead to additional breakouts. Tea Tree is important to try and avoid infections.
Finally, controlling inflammation is made possible with the Sebu-Clear Masque.
